Well, hello there! Welcome to the Abney Alphabetacy!

I've decided to launch an exclusive over here on Dreamwidth. This /should/ be just a fun little save for me to relax with, but knowing me it'll soon descend into anarchy, murder, and terrible, terrible puns.

The rules are fairly simple:
1. The save will run for 26 generations.
2. Each member of each generation must be named after the letter corresponding to their generation. For example, our founder must have an 'A' name. Their children must have all 'B' names.
3. The spouse of the heir for each generation must have a name that starts with the same letter as an heir. Our founder must find and marry an 'A' named sim, their child must marry a spouse with a 'B' name.

And that's about it! I'm going to try and find spouses from the game for an extra challenge, but I may make or take spouses at some point. Who knows! We could even have a BC or an MMBC or two tossed in here for good measure. It'll take me 26 generations to complete this, I'll have to do /something/ to break it all up.

And without further ado! Let's officially meet-!

Annie-Mae Abney: "Gosh! This is all so exciting! Look at me! Look at me! Out on my very own!"

Annie-Mae: "A butterfly! Mama always told me that a butterfly's visit was a friend from the other side comin' to check up on ya. I'm glad to see ya here, pal. I need all the moral support I can get."

Annie-Mae: "'Specially with barely anything to call my own."

~~And we'll have none of /that/, thank you.~~

Mascot: "I AM HERE."

Annie-Mae: "ACK!"

Mascot: "I HAVE BEEN SUMMONED. I AM HERE. I HAVE BROUGHT THE OBJECT. THE OBJECT THAT HAS BEEN FORESEEN."

Mascot: "IT IS HERE."

Annie-Mae: "Oh! Thank ya kindly!"

Mascot: "IT IS MY PRIMARY DIRECTIVE. DO NOT THANK ME. I AM NOT MEANT TO BE THANKED."

Annie-Mae: "...That's nice?"

Annie-Mae: :O :D

Annie-Mae: "Gosh, these aptitude tests are hard...But I think I'll go for Communications! It's got a reputation for bein' a 'MRS Degree', but I've always had a knack for takin' pictures! I think it'll work well for me if I work hard!"

Annie-Mae: "And off we go! Just got settled in one place, now I'm headin' to another!"

Annie-Mae joined the sorority! ~~And not an 'A' name in sight, blech...~~

Annie-Mae: "Hm, there's a 'meet-and-greet' in a little bit not far from here. I should go! I wanna get a head start on meetin' my professors! And who knows! Might meet some fun people too!"

Annie-Mae: "Nothin' wrong with gettin' in some early studying, though."

Annie-Mae: "Wow! A whole car for all the sorority to use! How luxurious!"

Annie-Mae: "Huh! No professors around at all! Well, I tried..."

With no professors to schmooze, I set Annie-Mae to looking for anyone with an 'A' name, just to scope out the group. But we only found one, Miss Ayana Yuki.

Annie-Mae: "Oh get out! You were Valedictorian too? Nice!" *modestly* "I mean, it's less impressive when ya only have 200 students in your entire school, but I'm glad to meet another egghead. We're gonna have to study some time!"

Ayana: "That sounds fun!"

Ayana: "Ugh, they're making us play one of those ice breaker game. I hate those things. Want to play together? It'd be easier than meeting up with somebody new."

Annie-Mae: "Why, sure!"

*epic montage music blasting in the distance*

Annie-Mae: "Phew! I'm plum tuckered out from meetin' everyone! I'm headin' back home. Gotta finish some readings before I sleep. But I'll see ya around?"

Ayana: "Of course! See you in classes!"

And I think that's where I'll leave it for now! This format is so new for me, I have no idea if this an appropriate length or not, or even if this is entertaining or anything! Feedback will be appreciated! Other than that, I'll see you for the next post! :D
